¶ Difficulty / Time Taken
The JustRace Server Manager (JRSM) is quick and easy to install. Configuration of the dedicated servers you wish to use and the required ports can be time consuming depending on the number of simulators you wish to use.
¶ Minimum Requirements
- Always on server
- 100Mb Disk space
- Fixed / static IP Address
- Ability to open ports through firewall / routers.
¶ Installation
- Register on the JustRace Portal
- Download the free JustRace Server Manager
- Open up ports 9001 and 9002 for inbound and outbound TCP traffic. Not sure how to do this? Google is your friend
- Install the JRSM by running the exe downloaded in item 2.
Caution. JRSM is an unsigned application. Digital signing is expensive and as a community driven project we can not afford digital signing of JRSM. During install you will see the following warning:

Login to JRSM using the details you registered with in step 1 above

Visit the JustRace Portal "My Communites" page to confirm communication between your JRSM and the Portal has been established

¶ Starting JRSM Automatically
It is important that if the server powers down for any reason that when it boots back up it:
- Logs on automatically to windows. Automatic logon can be achieved using this excellent free tool by Microsoft to add in the required windows settings for an automatic logon when the windows starts
- On the "Settings" tab in JRSM make sure "Start JRSM with OS Boot" is enabled.
