¶ Configuring R3E with JRSM

¶ Minimum Requirements
- 250Mb disk space
- Remote access to the server
¶ Instructions
IMPORTANT: Do NOT try to link JRSM to an existing RaceRoom Racing Experience game installation. You must link JRSM to an RaceRoom Racing Experience dedi installation.
Note: We recommend you use our installation scripts. If you choose to use an existing installation or use the Steam Client (rather than the steam command line tool we use) then support may be limited.
- Click the R3E tab in JRSM

- Follow the three step installation process:
Step 1: Click the "Copy Installation Scripts" button
Step 2: Click the "Install" button and allow RaceRoom to install. You may need to enter a Steam Guard code during the process.
Step 3: Once the install script has finished click the "Detect rrrededicated.exe" button. If rrrededicated.exe is found then your installation is complete
Caution. We STRONGLY recommend you restart JRSM after configuring a new dedicated server.
- Click the "Enabled" check box and then click the "Re/Start RaceRoom Server" button
- Visit http://localhost:8088/. You may need to enter a unique string if this is the first time you have run the RaceRoom dedi.
¶ Opening up the RaceRoom Dedi Web Interface for External Access
Note this is optional and should only be done if you need remote access. The connection is NOT encrypted so is not secure. The RaceRoom dedi uses basic authentication to restrict access
The RaceRoom web interface as standard is only accessible if you open it from the same machine running the web server. You can open up the web interface to be accessible remotely by adding an access file to the same folder as the RRRE_Dedicated.exe.

]The access file just contains the username and password to be used to access the web interface:
username:password
Here is an example file which if you place in the same folder as the RRRE_Dedicated.exe will allow the web interface to be accessed remotely.
You need to restart the RaceRoom Dedi after adding the
